Influence of Nanoclay Filler Material on the Tensile, Flexural, Impact, and Morphological Characteristics of Jute/E-Glass Fiber-Reinforced Polyester-Based Hybrid Composites: Experimental, Modeling, and Optimization Study

The use of natural fibers as reinforcement in polymer composite materials is increasing owing to the ecocompatibility. fabrication fiber-based now an emerging field study, and it most desired choice not only because its superior qualities such light weight, stiffness, low density but also being economical renewable. However, mechanical characteristics these composites are a major concern thus require some additives form nanoclay, which can readily act filler material, thereby enhancing tensile, flexural, impact strengths fiber composites. In this regard, hybrid with jute E-glass reinforcements, along Cloisite 20 nanoclay fabricated by hand layup process steel mold box cut ASTM standards. composition reinforcements fixed based on initial experimental studies review literature findings. wt.% range 10 5 interval for each composition, while varied from 30 that 2 6 wt.%. specimens varying nanofiller material subjected standard tests evaluating their viz., strength morphological characteristics. results experiments have revealed combining synthetic increases impact, flexural material. This ascertained Taguchi’s optimization statistical model (regression equations) developed.
